Sunday Morning Inspiration – Elliott Erwitt

Elliott Erwitt is a French-born American advertising and documentary photographer known for his black and white candid photos of ironic and absurd situations within everyday settings.

Famed for his unique and witty photographic vision as well as his wry observations on life and art, Elliott Erwitt, over recent years turned his lens upon Scotland. To capture the essence and character of Scotland, he traveled the country, shooting people, places, and even Scottish dog breeds.

“You can take pictures anywhere. It’s just wiser, if you’re going to get the character of a place, to go to many different places and just hang out,” Erwitt explained.
